Indications for use:
Drontal anthelmintic tablets are used for the prevention and therapeutic treatment of cats against round and tapeworms that parasitize cats: Toxocara cati, Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Ancylostoma braziliense, Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multi-locularis, Dipylidium caninum, Taenia spp., Mesocestoides spp., Joyeuxiella sp.
Contraindications:
Weakened animals, sick animals. Prior consultation with a veterinarian is recommended. Do not use for kittens weighing up to 1 kg. Do not use in animals during pregnancy. Side effects:

Useful information:
Drontal can be given to kittens, old and weakened animals. Since fleas are carriers of the larval stage of Dipylidium caninum, deworming should be carried out together with treating the animal against fleas with one of the insecticides (Bolfo, Advantage).
Storage conditions:
Store the drug in the original packaging, out of the reach of children and animals, separately from food products and animal feed at a temperature from minus 8 ° C to plus 20 ° C.
Composition An antihelminthic tablet: white, yellowish when broken, divided into two equal parts, contains 230 mg of pyrantel embonate, 20 mg of praziquantel.

One tablet is designed for 4 kg of animal weight. The deworming tablet is given once either by force or with food (in meat, minced meat, in a piece of butter). Preventive treatment of animals should be carried out at least 4 times a year, and this should also be done before vaccination, mating, 10 days before lambing. Preliminary diet and laxatives are not required.
The drug can be used for kittens from 3 weeks of age. Kittens against roundworms (ascarids) are recommended to be dewormed twice with an interval of 14 days for 2-3 weeks after weaning.
