Procox (Procox) anthelmintic for puppies and adult dogs (suspension)
Bayer Procox  is prescribed to puppies and adult dogs for the treatment and prevention of eimeriosis and helminthic infestation.
Application:
  • Treatment and prevention of dogs infected with mixed infestations caused by roundworms (mature and immature adults, larvae of Toxocara canis, mature adults of Uncinaria stenocephala, mature adults of Ancylostoma caninum) and eimeria (Isospora ohioensis complex, Isospora canis).
  • To stop the division of eimeria and the release of oocysts into the environment.
  • Treatment of animals with the drug slows the spread of eimeriosis, but is not an effective treatment for clinical manifestations of the disease.
Why is it worth buying?
  • Effective against mature and larval stages of roundworms;
  • Stops the process of reproduction of eimeria, thus preventing the spread of infection;
  • The drug is available in the form of a suspension, which is easy to dose and use;
  • Can be given to puppies from 2 weeks of age.

  • The suspension is administered directly into the animal's oral cavity using a syringe. A new syringe must be used each time to administer the preparation (reuse of the syringe is not permitted)
Contraindications:
  • Important!  Do not use for animals with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug (collie, sheltie, bobtail, Australian shepherd and white Swiss shepherd dogs)
  • Do not use on puppies under 2 weeks of age or weighing less than 0.4 kg.
  • Do not use on females during pregnancy and the first 2 weeks of lactation.
Special instructions:
  • Collie and collie crossbreed puppies may be hypersensitive to Procox.
  • Use of the drug in debilitated animals, as well as animals with liver and kidney disease, should be based on an assessment of the risk and the need for treatment.
  • In the fight against eimeriosis, it is necessary to develop a whole range of measures aimed at eliminating the pathogen. In kennels, when clinical signs of eimeriosis appear, each litter must be treated with Procox. The treatment must be carried out over a long period of time. All dogs at risk of infection must be treated simultaneously, including adult animals, since they may have a subclinical course of the disease.

If it gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. If the preparation is accidentally ingested, consult a doctor with the instructions or label for this preparation.
